WE OPERATE ALL YEAR (WEATHER PERMITTING) and can usually accommodate any day of the week or weekend.
Please email us if possible to make initial contact or you can contact Fiona on 07711580402 to book. And remember, you can bring your own horse/pony for a guided ride and overnight stay if required - see Guided Rides and Horse B&B page for details.
2 hour rideout £40, beginners welcome.
3-4 hour half day rideout £60 various routes.
Dallas Dhu Distillery with coffee or whisky ! £90
Loch Romach - bring your own picnic - £90
Dava Way Cicuit (21 miles) - £110
Dava Way 2 day expedition : £260 with additional costs of £5-£15 per horse overnighting here and at Grantown each night, for those using their own horses, and £2.50 for extra hay/straw as req'd each night, as well as accommodation in Grantown of your choice (camping / B&B / Hotel)
Guiding costs for the Dava Way expedidition will include the above overnighting costs and be £90 per rider or £360 for groups of up to 5 horses and $400 for larger groups. If bringing your own horse/trailer to do the expedition it is essential that you have a support person available for problems which can arise along this route !
In general guiding costs are 1/3 of the cost of whichever ride you choose to do with your own horse as well as the overnight horse accommodation fee. The exception being the Dava Way Expedition which is much easier to do on my horses who know the route and its difficulties. Also the logistics involved make the guiding costs greater.
Full day ride to Findhorn beach - £120
(pub lunch not incl.)
Findhorn or RoseIsle Beaches or the Moray Coast Ride can be organised as a guided ride using your own horse and transport but tea and coffee facilities will be available using our lorry (we are just not insured to carry horses in it for business purposes - too costly !)
PLEASE ALWAYS BOOK IN ADVANCE AS WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY MEAN CHANGE OF PLAN OR CANCELLATION. NO DEPOSIT IS TAKEN AND ANY CANCELLATION WILL NOT BE CHARGED.
APRES RIDING :
We have tea and coffee in the yard and sometimes cake and biscuits ! ! Please do bring any snacks if you are a hungry person.
Also on Tuesday and Sunday evenings and Friday mornings I teach Ashtanga yoga and all levels incl. beginnners are welcome - yoga is an excelent complement to your riding posture, balance as well as on those days you get cross with your horse ! We've all had'em.
Beach Rides :
Findhorn is a fabulous location, with its' beautiful beach and these painted windmills by the "Findhorn Foundation". We would suggest you plan to stay in Findhorn if you are visiting Moray, and can recommend "The Kimberley Inn" for good food.
where we tie up the horses to enjoy a pub lunch.
Rideouts to Findhorn beach happen all year round, in the winter months we use a lorry to transport the horses there, but in the summer months we can take all day to ride there, enjoy a gallop along the beach and a pub lunch, then ride home again.
Bye Then!
We also like to take the horses by lorry to the beach in the evenings especially at a full moon !
Evening rides on a Friday have been popular and as the days lengthen these will happen most Fridays.
